SPECTATING
The best place to enjoy the racing is the grass area in front of the clubhouse.
Bring your camping chairs, picnic blankets, sunglasses and sunscreen and settle in for a full day of racing on the River Dee.
Friends, family and colleagues are all welcome.
A public playpark is located beside the club and children's face painting will be available during the day.
RACE DAY UPDATES
Throughout the day, announcements will be made over the PA system and published on our noticeboards around the club. We will be sharing updates, photos and videos on Instagram throughout the day.

GETTING HERE
Parking at the boathouse is limited and is expected to fill early.
Additional on-street parking is available in the surrounding area, although visitors should observe all local parking restrictions and signage.
To help reduce congestion, we encourage crews and supporters to car share where possible.
Even better, leave the car at home. Aberdeen Boat Club is approximately a 10-minute walk from Aberdeen Train Station and is well served by local bus routes.
FOOD & DRINK
No regatta is complete without good food and drink.
Available throughout the day will be:
• The ABC Tea Stall, from 9am serving home bakes, hot drinks, soft drinks and our famous Race Day pies
• The Club Bar, open from 11am with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available
• The Pimm's Stall, returning from 1pm
• Our ever-popular BBQ, featuring produce supplied by The Tilly Butcher, will be serving from 1pm.
500M ERG CHALLENGE
Think you're fitter than our members?
The 500m Erg Challenge returns from 1-4.45pm and is open to participants, spectators and club members.
Prizes will be awarded for the fastest rower and non-rower in both male and female categories.
ICR CLASS OF 2025
Before the finals, our Intercompany Regatta Class of 2025 alumni will race each other after completing their first year as rowing members at Aberdeen Boat Club.
If you're curious about joining the club after the event, they'll be happy to answer questions during the afternoon and at the after party.
ASRA OPEN DAY
Next door to ABC, Aberdeen Schools Rowing Association will be hosting an open day on 27th June to welcome anyone under the age of 18 who may be interested in rowing. They will be giving some of those interested a chance to get out on the water between 10am and 12pm.
AWARDS
Prizes will be awarded for:
• Gavin Booth Trophy (1st Place)
• 2nd Place
• 3rd Place
• Best Costume
• Best Team Name
• 500m Erg Challenge Winners
AFTER PARTY
The racing may finish at 4pm but the celebrations are only getting started.
Join crews, supporters, volunteers and club members in the ABC Bar following the Awards Presentation.
We'll be announcing some unofficial awards, sharing stories from the day and serving a special one-night-only rowing-themed cocktail created exclusively for ICR 2026.
Whether you're celebrating victory or planning your comeback for next year, we hope you'll stay and join us.
