President: Jim Steel -
The president represents the interest of the club at the highest level and acts as its face. He/she provides a link between old and new members and retains connections with overseas members.  Negotiates with local bodies or potential financiers as necessary.  Acts on behalf of the club and its members wherever and whenever it is seen as being helpful.  Provides advice & guidance to Club Officers and Committee.  The position works as a support to the Committee & members.

Captain: Matthew Burnett -
The Captain’s is principal responsibility is that of overseeing all matters related to rowing at all levels (be it boats, training or coaching).  Additionally, the Captain is the club representative at the all levels inside or outside rowing & most directly, a contact with the other Aberdeen/Scottish Clubs.

Secretary: Alex Duncan –
The Secretary is responsible for the organisation of meetings of the Committee and of the Club, this person records the minutes and deal with correspondence and ensures annual returns to Scottish Rowing are completed and that any licenses, approvals , certifications etc. are kept up to date and displayed as required.

Treasurer: Emma Crossan -
Deal with all matters financial

Social Manager: Charlotte Riley - 
Deals with all housekeeping matters and social matters, both for club members and outside functions. 
Bar Rota Volunteers -

Bar Manager: Bob Newton -
Personal Licence Holder for Aberdeen Boat Club, Work closely with Social Manager, Manage paid staff (students), Keep bar stocked, Be on site for any contractual work required by plumbers, electricians, joiners etc, Issues & keeps record of ‘fobs’ purchased by members for barrier & back door, Keeps change box supplied with change, Place weekly bar order with brewers, Liaises with brewers on all aspects of bar equipment & cellar requirements.

Safety Officer: Pete Turner -
The Safety Officer will take the lead in promoting safe practice and be responsible for ensuring that the Scottish Rowing Code of Practice for Water Safety is followed.  The Safety Officer carries out annual risk Assessment at the club.

Entries Secretary: Tricia Ritchie -
Liaises with coaches and captain for crew lists and submitting race entries.  Maintains the club’s race fees system.  Follows up race entry queries with events organisers.

Ordinary Members
The membership at the AGM will vote for 4 club members to serve on the committee as a voice from the Club’s membership with no specific role or responsibility.  This is a good way for newer members to get involved with the running of the club.
