Novice Nights

Do you want to continue, or do you have friends & colleagues who want to try rowing?

Come to Novice Nights, run by the volunteer coxes & coaches at Aberdeen Boat Club. The aim is to get together men’s, women’s & mixed crews to race in the Aberdeen Sprint Regatta in coxed fours on the 31 August 2013.

Review: Intercompany Regatta | 22 June

A full complement of forty crews from companies across Aberdeen took to the water on the 22nd of June for Aberdeen Boat Club’s annual Intercompany Regatta. Sponsored again by Sparrows, this event was another huge success for the participants and the club.

Review: Scott Champs Regatta | 16/15 June 13

It was rather a regatta of two halves at the Scottish Championships on the 15th and 16th of June, with Saturday bringing windy, overcast (read: relatively normal) conditions at Strathclyde Park and Sunday bringing a warm, calm day and superbly flat water for all those racing.

Inter-Company Row 2013

Aberdeen Boat Club is pleased to announce the Inter-Company Row 2013 is now fully subscribed and regrets that it is closed for new entries.

Strong showing by ABC at Castle Semple Regatta

ABC put in a strong showing at Castle Semple Regatta on the 1st of June 2013, where a larger than normal contingent from up north were treated to a true demonstration of three seasons in one day – it was sunny, overcast and raining by turns, but consistently windy throughout the day!
